Born and raised in the Gainesville, Florida area. Graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Agriculture with a degree in Food and Resource Economics in 2021. While earning an education Brett was given the opportunity to work on a farm and ranch in Williston, Florida where he still maintains responsibilities. He farms watermelons, peanuts, grass seed and hay, as well as running a commercial cow-calf operation. The herd consists mostly of cross bred cattle with influences of Angus, Hereford and Brahman.
